These are just some bits of information that are so small a page dedicated to them doesn't really seem necessary. The information you can find here is;

- Harvest Goddess Wishes
- Seasons + Weather Seasons
- Power Berries
- House Upgrades
- Mining
- Misc Items
- Stamina Levels

Harvest Goddess Wishes:
Stop by the Goddess Lake and throw something from your farm into the pond (crop, eggs, etc). The Harvest Goddess will pop up, if you've already asked her for advice on and ending you're working on she will prompt you with several wish options. They are:
- Energy: This wish is used to restore your stamina.
- Fatigue: This wish is used to ease and remove your fatigue for the day.
- Girl: This has a chance of making a girl like you more, but the catch is you can't pick who!
- Horse: This wish may increase your hearts affection towards you, but it might backfire and decrease instead so be careful!
- Dog: This wish is the same as the Horse wish. The intent is to increase your dogs affection towards you, but it may backfire. Again, be careful!

Seasons + Weather Seasons:
Just like most Harvest Moon games you have your Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter seasons. All through Spring-Fall you can continue growing the same four plants over and over. There are however Weather Seasons; Mild, Dry and Wet. This may affect your plants and animals so be sure to take care of them during this time. Mild is mostly sunny but can sometimes be rainy and cloudly. Dry is almost always sunny and rarely rains. Wet is almost always rainy and usually cloudy.

Each season has a different pattern of when these weather seasons occur:
Spring:
1st-16th: Mild
17th-21st: Wet
22nd-30th: Dry

Summer:
1st-4th: Dry
5th-20th: Mild
21st-26th: Wet
27th-30th: Dry

Fall:
1st-19th: Mild
20th-24th: Wet
25th-30th: Dry

Winter:
1st-7th: Dry
8th-16th: Mild
17th-21st: Wet
22nd-30th: Mild

Power Berries:
There aren't as many power berries in this game as there usually are in previous Harvest Moon games, but they'll still help increase your stamina so you can work more for longer. You can find them in these places but you have to be patient:

- You can find one in your pasture while cutting down grass.
- You can find one while digging in your fields.
- You can find one while digging in the Sacred Land during the Treasure Hunt ending.
- You can find one while fishing.
- You can find one when you and your dog help the Harvest Sprites find Flak when he goes missing.
- You can find one by visiting the Goddess in the morning and asking for Energy, since you haven't used any she'll give you a Power Berry.

House Upgrades:
This time around there are only two things you can buy from the carpenters; an extension on your house which is a kitchen and a dog house once you have a dog.

Kitchen: 10000g
The kitchen will be added to your house and will provide you with not only a kitchen but a bath and washroom as well. In the kitchen you get an oven, pot and frying pan for cooking and a fridge to store your goodies. You can only use three ingredients when you cook though, and they must be in your bag. You can visit our Recipe page for things you can cook! The bath and washroom will help relieve fatigue.

Dog House: 5000g
After you catch your dog you'll be able to get a house from him soon after. It will be right next to your house and his feed bowl. Even though the purpose of this is for your dog to go in there in the rain, he doesn't actually stay in there so I recommend against it. He will not only walk around eventually, but he'll also come out when you go to feed him. If you try to pick him up after he'll growl. The Dog House is a cute edition and if you have the money, buy it - but bring your dog inside when it's going to rain. Continue to use his feed bowl and the food will disappear the next day and your doggie is well!

Mining:
There is no cave you visit to mine in the Save the Homeland, instead you just dig on your farm and you'll eventually turn up ores, minerals and gold. They can certainly help you if you're low on cash, just be careful and watch your stamina so you don't get too tired and still need to do other work. To see what you can sell, how much for and where to, check out the Profitable Items page.

Misc Items:
There are a couple items in the game you can't buy, but get by befriending other villagers.

Flute: You can get this by befriending Louis. You can use this to train your dog and is very useful when rounding up your cows if it's raining the next day!
Fishing Rod: While it's not that great, it can still be useful. You can get this by befriending Joe.
Silver Rod: This is only available in the Fishy Story ending, and can be received from Kurt.

Stamina Levels:
Throughout the day as you're working you may notice your character performing actions to symbolize how he's feeling. You can also check the start menu - and that red happy face will eventually turn to yellow and eventually blue as more and more energy is used up. If you find yourself getting tired, take a bath if available, eat herbs or anything else that will restore your energy.

There are three main actions he'll do:
Wiping his forehead - this is the first action he'll do which means he's getting tired. It's probably a good idea to eat something now before he gets more tired.
Bending over/Breathing - this is the second action he'll do when he's even more tired.
Collapsing - this is the third action he'll do and the last. After this point he cannot do any more work. If you still have work to do then eat something immediately that will restore your energy or simply go to bed if you're done for the day. Just be careful otherwise you might get ill.
