Harvest Moon News
If you’ve been following Natsume’s Facebook page you might have noticed that they’ve been releasing helpful tips for playing their latest release, Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. The list started on Nov. 8, 2012. Currently, their list has 13 tips; however, they aren’t done yet.
For those interested, here is the current list:
#1: You can water crops twice a day to make them grow faster! A plot will "dry up" after about 10 hours.
#2: The minimum amount you need to water a crop is once every second day. It will grow very slowly.
#3: Grass doesn't need to be watered. It's also an easy way to make some fast G when you're saving up!
#4: Even if you're not "into the ladies," it's smart to woo Iroha. She'll gift you upgraded tool Blueprints if she likes you~
#5: You could give Neil milk, but fodder's cheaper and he likes it just as much. Even if you're not wooing him, he has some cool animal-related gifts if he likes you~
#6: Emma ships your products and is the mother of an absent villager. Befriend her to encourage her child to move home.
#7: Grass (Fodder) counts as a crop. Chickens count as animals. Both will come in handy~
#8: Befriend Neil for some awesome animal-related blueprints. Tending & moving livestock will be a breeze!
#9: You can unlock both floor and wall decorations for your home. The only question remains which villager has each pattern~
#10: Need someone to socialize with late at night? Soseki and the Witch Princess are both night owls, staying up past midnight.
#11: The forecast is fickle, and may vary slightly from the newspaper's predictions.
#12: Mining is hard. You'll probably want a doctor living in town before you try it...in case you hurt yourself!
#13: There is no 13th tip. Alice is superstitious.
For more updates please check out Natsume’s official Facebook page. Have any of the tips been helping you lately?
Also on a side note, A New Beginning has been released for the Nintendo eShop on the 3DS!

Harvest Moon News
So if you haven’t heard yet, Natsume gave a big surprise to their fans today by announcing that they will begin shipping pre-orders for Harvest Moon 3DS: A New Beginning!
The game was originally scheduled for a November 6, 2012 release, however, got changed last night to October 19, 2012. People who pre-ordered from the Natsume Inc., Store received an e-mail last night stating the following changes:
“Thank you for ordering on Natsume Inc.. The release date for the preorder product has changed. The product listed below will now be available on October 19, 2012.”
About 21 minutes ago Natsume made another official statement on their Facebook page saying:
“Why wait? We have begun shipping Harvest Moon: A New Beginning – to retail stores and pre-orders from our site. SURPRISE! HM ANB now has a soft release date, meaning you might start seeing it in stores as early as next week. In addition, we are processing and shipping pre-orders starting today. Note: NOT ALL PRE ORDERS WILL SHIP TODAY (There’s A LOT!). We'll have more information a little later today on our good news" – Natsume
So for people who pre-ordered you should be on the look out! For those who haven’t placed orders, you can still do so either at the retailers or the Natsume Store – to my knowledge the limited edition 15th anniversary cow is still available until October 29.

Harvest Moon News
Hey guys just wanted to let you know that on Oct. 2, 2012 Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon was officially re-released, this time on the Playstation Network for $9.99 in U.S. currency. It’s the Playstation 2 version of the game – though I don’t think there was much of a difference between the PS2 or the PSP one.
If you’ve never heard of the game here’s some background as well story plot.
“All the shiny technology in the world can’t save the inhabitants of Heartflame Island. That’s because an ancient curse smolders among the shadows of a nearby volcano. Locals whisper about an old legend that might break the curse, but it takes someone other than a human to unlock the secrets – and that someone most conquer the crumbling ruins forgotten by time. That someone is you – the android made by Dr. Hope." - from the 2008 ps2 game box.
The PSP game officially launched on April 27, 2006 in Japan and followed in the States by May 2007. The PS2 Special Edition followed quickly afterwards and was released in the States by early 2008.
